How can I raise the action on a Vega No 2? (Deering)
Action is very low even with a 11/16 bridge. It looks like the rim and neck are at a higher than usual angle.
I've tried following the directions for tightening co rods.
Thanks.

You might try a shim at the bottom of the heel, a thin piece of headstock veneer, or brass shim stock..even a credit card. I prefer to keep my coordinator rods neutral and do adjustments using shims.
Cya!

Also check the neck bow... A very slight forward bow is what you need, not a backward (truss rod).
