I agree with the previous post. The work you are doing is beautiful. Breaking all this neck work into separate threads would make much easier reading. It would be particularly helpful when trying to find certain information rather than working through the whole neck thread to find the fifth string pip, etc.

I am going to start breaking it down right now, with the peghead shaping.



Of course, they are all called :"Building a Banjo: - 1, 2,3, 4 etc-then the subject, so you can always find them on the archive, AND All this will be incorporated into a book I will do at the end, the text and pictures I'm posting being the substance of that. AND, you can always write to me, as many people have.



Meanwhile, the next thread will be "Building a Banjo 11, shaping the peghead"
