I'm still saving my pennies for the RS Maple.  I'm afraid that it will be long gone by the time I can afford it.  Mr. Stewart has been extremely nice to send me pictures and a sound sample of this banjo.  It is KILLER!  I will probably be kicking myself for years to come for letting this get away.  Good luck, Mr. Stewart.  I love the new Boxcars CD by the way.

Thanks so much! I understand the money issues, it has kept me from things in the past that I just kick my butt every day over! We will build you one anytime. Thanks so much again for the kind words, and have a great day!

Just got my 2 Boxcar CDs from Elderly (as well as your banjo DVD) and sitting at my computer listening...great stuff. I am a pretty die hard traditionalist although I appreciate talent wherever it appears. I love your stuff because...it has the classic bluegrass drive/style; your songs are real type stories that grab you; great instrumentation and vocals...gotta love the mandolin chop!!

Question (perhaps answered before), what banjo/s are you using on these CDs?? I, as others, have a Yates in my future...but choosing wood is a challenge. So I am hoping to get help from the recordings on sound.

Thanks,
gary

Is "Many A Mile" going to be on a cd from you/Boxcars/someone soon?  I love the version in the sound file!

I really wanted this banjo, but I couldn't save my money fast enough!  Maybe next year I will be able to afford a Yates Banjo.
