This is a combination of the 1923 Bacon staff photo and a photo of my visit last summer.
I realized that I could fit them together using the magic of Photoshop!

I got that mute setup idea from Roy Smeck. He did all his banjos that way. I've heard many of the early Silver Bells with the mute had them like that.
