This song was recorded by Cannon's Jug Stompers on September 20, 1928. This in my version adapted for solo banjo and my voice.
Recorded on my first completed banjo in our new home in Sedona, AZ. The banjo is #33 and was strung up and tuned for the first time just a couple of hours ago, 2,28,2012.

Nice one Richard! What is the pot diameter and scale length of that little guy?

Thanks Darren,
The banjo is the standard A scale (22 7/8") that I build and it has a 10" rim. The pot is made of mesquite with a Texas ebony tone ring and is a full three inches deep. Most of the A scale banjos I have built have a rolled brass tone ring but this one is my favorite so far and I will hate to part with it.

"I've been drinking white lighting, and it's gonna turn my head." Now that's the truth, but it hasn't hurt your picking fingers any. A great performance, I could almost hear a jug puffing along behind it!

Thanks Don,
I'ts not easy to find a good jug band when you need one so sometimes we just try to make do without them!
