I own a similar 1927 example - however without the extended fretboard - acoustudio.dk/BD%20Silver%20Be...7334.html - this will maybe, but only maybe, come up for sale.
Any interest? And if so - any funds at hand? These Ladies are extremely costly - LOL!

Ha-Ha - Yes - the most useless cord at all. Plus the sole chord setting, that can´t be done with neither the violin or the thumb grip!
Mr. Scheidlmeier - I´m a bit disappointed - from you I would have expected minimum a GbmM7b5add6addb9 or the like. LOL!

His famous B&D Silver Bell No. 9 Ne Plus Ultra - banjoworld.de/High517a.htm - the one with the carved elephant head - was also manufactured in 1927. If both banjos were given for free - indeed a splendid sponsorship - 450+900=1,350 bucks was a lot of money back then.
