1977 Baldwin Ode Style D banjo. Really nice sounding and playing example. Bigger voice than others "D's" I have played with some real nice pop and sparkle to boot. Surprisingly strong bass too. No issues, just pick it up, start playing and channel your inner Bobby Thompson!. Gold plating on tension hoop has significant plating wear, oxidation and some pitting. That being said, I like the way it looks, but you may wish to have it re-plated. The plating on the flange, tone ring etc is in good condition. The normal player wear on the arm rest. Real good deal on a classic.
