Oh my, even a clean calfskin head and a terrific case!

Is that maple on the back of the resonator? Or laminate? If it's maple it would give the prettiest pre war Gibson Style 6 a run for its money.

 I am only guessing but it appears to be a very high quality burled maple veneer. My B&D has a burled walnut resonator and I'm fairly certain that it's veneer.
