Just wanted to share one of my original doodles of Mr. John Hartford (ink on paper). After hearing John's album, Mark Twang, I knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my life learning how to play the banjo.

My mother's an artist, and I can't draw for beans.
I love to pick, and Mom doesn't know anything about strings.
Go figure, eh?
John was a HUGE influence on so many folks lives.
Playing here (to an empty Opry house), he sounds
just as good as if it were packed on a Friday night.
