Folks these are the real thing.  If you want home made chicken and dumplings my grandma made the best I ever had.  I sat with her and had her teach me to make these.   I remember telling her, "Grandma I need exact measurement."

Grandma would just laugh and say, "Until you have a soft dough." 

Well I have learned now how to make a soft dough.  Like grandma said, you just know by the feel  and how the dough is.  Grandma would start with flour in a mixing bowl and she would make a little well in the middle and add her warm broth and the egg and stir until a ball of soft dough formed.

Then she put that on a floured board and rolled it 1/4 inch thick and cut into strips.  Grandma liked to make long dumplings about 6 inches long.  I know people who cut them into squares.

OK. So, suppose I want to save and print this. I have tried nine (9) times but the printer does nothing. Even with the fat Epson Photo printer turned on. There is no number of "View Image" or "Copy Image" to save this. Nothing works for me.

I'd get the 12 yr old across the street to do this but it's past his bedtime.
My 3 computers are no more than high-speed rat rods which hum along for anyone but me.
I pay a dude $75/hr to keep it that way.

Brian,

LEFT click and drag across (Highlight) 'Mopick's ENTIRE post. Go from upper LEFT to Lower right of his ENTIRE post. This will pick up the entire recipe.
Right click and COPY
PASTE it into a Word document (open up a blank page of your Word processing program and Paste it.)
SAVE the WORD document to your preferred file.
PRINT it when you need it.

Alternative: Open up Notepad, resize and position so you can see the recipe, and transcribe.

That looks really good. Thank you for posting this. There is nothing nicer than chicken and dumplings on a cold rainy day.
