One of my favorite John Prine songs. I played a rhythm track and a picking track on my Bishline Midnight Moon, and a rhythm track on my Epiphone guitar. This is kind of a tough song to pick to, and I'm not entirely happy with that aspect of it, but this take was within reason.

Nice performance, Joe. You have a voice that well suites Prine's material. I'd even bring it forward a little more, so that it was a little more out front of the instrumental accompaniment.

Thanks Don! And thanks for listening. The banjo rhythm and the vocals were both recorded on one track here, so I wouldn't be able to bring out the vocals on their own, but I'll certainly think about that for the future.
