Hi all,
I decided to see where this goes. I am kicking around trading my OPF Kalamazoo covert for something else. Of course I am more interested in trading up or possibly for something with a repaired headstock etc... I am interested in a lower end early 80s Stelling such as a Whitestar or something comparable. I will just keep it open ended. This banjo is firecracker setup with a Blaylock conversion ring on the original Kalamazoo rim. My main interest would be to trade towards a Stelling but I am not closed to other trades either. There are a lot of other Kalamazoo's out there but this banjo sounds and plays awesome. I mean it! I traded it from Rod Durst a few years back. I posted a link to his CD baby site. He said he used this banjo for the cd. cdbaby.com/cd/roddurst This banjo has a vintage tone and is loud. I would stack it against any I have owned. Just got the itch to try a Stelling again.
