Do the Banjo Necks on Recording King Elite and Sonny Osborne models have the same slim profile?

I owned both. The Scout neck was rounder and thicker. The elite had a great neck with more of a v-shape and the longer scale. Plus the Elite has a nitro finish opposed to the Scout's poly finish. I foolishly sold it. It may be for sale, so I may get it back. Best banjo on the market for the $$, or even beyond the money.

Which one did you sell?

I sold both, but I was referring to the Elite. I have no interest in another Scout after playing the Elite.

Greg, I don't know how you find all these obscure posts. By the way, I bought an RK-R80 from Musicians Friend and shortly after that, got the "scoop" on the Elite. I played an Ode for 20 years or so, so I always been partial to banjo with a slim neck.
