This photo was taken not two days ago, (Sat 27th Aug) It shows Bob and I playing a small festival near our home town. While we were there we bumped into the fiddle player from our old band. The band has been defunct for 19 years now and we hav'nt shared a stage with Barry , the fiddler since then. Without hesitation or rehersal we asked him to join us on stage and we played a blinding set, another memory was born!!!!!!!!! hats off to bluegrass and old time, great guys and gals one and all.

I loved reading this. This music is truly the most awesome music in the world. No where else will you find this kind of comraderie and friendships. We're all one big bluegrass family. I love John Hartfords quote and I have it in my house right now...
"Bluegrass is the last small town, everyone knows everyone and you don't have to lock your doors." John Hartford.
