The death toll is up to six and may go higher. There's over 20 folks unaccounted for. Some or all may have gotten off at the last station, but the fire was so intense they're not sure.
I heard on the news this morning that the driver had a long history of driving violations. I don't know if it's true or not, but I used to run trucking companies and have driven over the road myself. There are a lot of cowboys out there. They said he skidded 300 feet before striking the train.

The news also reported that the trucking company had a long list of violations, from mechanical to bad drivers. One rig was removed from the road for having no tread left on it's tires.
Maybe this will put the company out of business.
