The armrest on my '88 Stelling Masterpiece was showing some wear in the middle, so I decided to replate it and I couldn't find anyone to do it locally that I trusted. Having read some good comments about Nashville Plating on the forum here, I sent the armpiece off to them. I can confirm the previous good review. Reasonable price, quality work, and quick turnaround. The final result is very attractive. I now wear a tennis wristband when I play.

I recently had a complete vintage banjo replated by Nashville Plating and the work was excellent, reasonable and timely!
I recommend them without reservation.
Cya!

Did Nashville Plating strip the old plating off, or did you have to find someone else to do that first?
Thanks...

Dunno if they stripped it or just cleaned and plated over what was there. I just sent it to them, and 12 days later I had it back, much pretter.

What's the ballpark on getting a banjo completely replated in gold these days?

Got a price from Ron Satterfield a few months ago for $350 for a complete banjo.
