I just recently posted my Bart Reiter Whyte Laydie banjo on the classified section. I think it is in excellent condition, really better than excellent. The metal is in great shape and there are no marks on the wood that I can find. I bought it a few months ago but had looked for one of the these banjos with the engraved dots for a good while. When I saw this one, I bought as they are getting hard to find.
I have a custom banjo on order and I have got to that age that I really only need one banjo. I have had Bart's banjos before. This one has the best sound of any that I have owned or played. Perhaps its the skin head, but it sounds great.
Any one have any questions please let me know through the BHO mail system.
Thanks for looking ......... Ed

I linked this thread to the Bart Reiter group. Good luck with the sale!

I have this banjo's slightly older sister, and it's a very fine instrument; I expect that this one is as well.
Also, Ed is a gentleman of the highest order, and excellent to deal with.
Best,
John
