I'll go with cussin Carl Edwards on this one. Who's your driver? Micki

Hi my pick is tony Stewart, i have a funny feeling that Edwards may remove kyle, just my way of thinking if your going to do something that's the right track for it .Ron

I'm picking Kyle Busch.

Hey, I was right.

I actually got to go to the race. A friend of mine got two tickets to one of the skyboxes from one of his vendors. Free tickets, free food, air conditioning, cushioned chairs, and a pretty good race. I really enjoyed it, but I kinda missed the smell of racing fuel and the incredible sound as the cars come roaring by. Still, I could get used to all the pampering.

I would estimate that about 1/3 of the 160,000 seats were empty. Also, from what I could tell, about 1/3 or more of the skyboxes were empty too. I guess the combination of the poor economy and the ridiculous cost of attending a NASCAR race have really hurt attendance.

yeah, if the sponsorships keep dropping out it is gonna be like the NFL. Gone. Kyle gave an interview on Sat. evening and said he would probably have a Nationwide car and team of his own next year, but he won't be the driver. I love to watch him and Carl Edwards race each other. Battle of the wits. Micki

Nascar will pick up a little around the beginning of the non-football season... perfect timing for the chase

I like most of the new rules, but I have never liked "CHASE". I think the new points system is good. Micki

F1 used an energy recovery system(KERS) in '09.
It gave the car a 10% boost in power for a few seconds per lap.

F1 uses compressed air to run the valves of their engines.
This lets them turn much higher rpms than would be possible with valve springs.

okay the kids in briston are sharp as a piston, when they do "The Briston stomp."
The joint is a jumpin, when they're stumpin, and the cars start wheeling, and the crowd is a reeling, and Winner gets the $. Micki

Now I hate to be totally dumb, but what does ladies of larkie mean?[Are they friends of yours who live in a place called Larkie or what? not a jockey cup, and it is a race with drivers and cars go around a track. Mickiquote]Originally posted by Dead Wood
