Portland Ovations just announced that the Steve Martin/Steep Canyon Rangers show in Portland, Maine on May 18 will also feature Tony Trischka and Territory. Saw TT&T at Joe Val a few weeks ago and they were smokin'. Strongly recommended show if you happen to be in the neighborhood! portlandovations.org/shows/201...e_martin/

I see no mention of any special access or VIP ticket... so I'd be surprised if there was. Regardless, the Merrill is a really nice auditorium and the sound is good just about everywhere in the room. For maximum viewing pleasure, it's nice to be in the center either in the orchestra or in the front of the first balcony.
