I have one of these in my office, but I don't have a tape measure here so I don't know if it is exactly your dimensions. I keep a GT CC-OT in mine, 11 inch pot. It was advertised as being for an 11 inch open back. Banjo is kind of loose and I keep some extra padding in it, mainly because it is too deep where the pot sits. I just checked, and the padding around the pot looks to be about an inch thick. A 12 inch might fit, though it looks like it would be a tight fit. It does seem like it provides good protection, and is very light for its size. I have flown with it, but never checked it. It will fit in an overhead bin.
Get a money back guarantee and try it out.

I owned one and loved it. Best bang for the buck out there. As far as size , you can always add some sort of padding to take up the slack.
Ask BHO member HELIX. I believe he ships all of his banjos in one of these.

Too big is not a problem. Those cases can fit Asian imports with the thick resonators. One of my students had her Savannah SB100 in one of those cases. If I had it to do all over again, I'd have bought one of those for myself instead of a gig bag and a hard case. If it's too big, you can add some ethofoam (the spacers for glass block windows or camping ground pads are an inexpensive source- I use them for my bagpipe cases). they come in about 1/4" slices.

I agree they're the most cost effective case available.
