I am sure they had to do that when they put in the smaller plate the engines will run to lean and burn up ,it may not help they are built to run with a certain plate and any changes can cause major problems ,i think they should go back to when racing was run what you brung there is to many changes only my opinion.ron

Their probably allowing for the pusher to stay behind the front car longer.
Two cars are faster than one.
