I wrote a piece which I say must only be played along with 'St Patrick's Day'. It's called Marc Smith's Day - he is Trapdoor2 on BHO. Here's a video I made of it on a Cole banjorine.

And Elwood...... Get ready. I wrote my Irish Song yesterday. I'll be recording it soon.
It's just like me. I'm 1/4 Irish and I would guess this song is about the same.
Of course on St Patrick's Day I'll be closer to 1/3 Irish. It just seems to work that way.

Nice job Elwood, Rob, Drybones, and Greg. Now this Irish whistle stuff has done gone and motivated me to get an Irish whistle so I can learn to play it. Something else to keep me occupied with on these cold winter days. Any good tips?

Hi Dave,
I used a Chieftain Low G Whistle on "A Fine Road" They run about $200. I suggest you try your hand at a couple $10-$15 brass whistles like Generation, or Waltons. I like my Waltons best. Buy one in the key of D and maybe one in C. That will give you the keys D, G, C, F to play in.
Start saving up for the expensive ones, because if you get hooked.... That is where you are headed.
