Would you trust a case to protect your ax from damage if thrown off a 3-story building? What if that case were a gig bag (check out the video)? ![]()

Yes, the 3-story throw is extreme. But checking your precious instrument through luggage at any major airport can be equally as risky.
Reunion Blues has an answer to security, portability and comfort. It's called the Continental gig bag. And up to now, it's only been available for guitars. Up to now. ![]()

Early next year the Reunion Blues folks will be selling a BANJO version of their indestructible Continental gig bag. And on Wednesday, November 17th at 7P Central Standard Time, Director of Sales and Product Development Dave Andrus will be talking to us Banjo Hangout folks LIVE via Webinar. The URL you can use to join the conversation is:
livestream.com/frailinflix
AGENDA: Dave will be talking to us about the Continental gig bag's...
* inside measurements
* padding
* external materials
* number of pockets
* straps
* total weight
* pricing/availability and more...
We'll also get a chance to see the bag. But Dave is wondering if you folks might have some other questions he could learn of in advance. So...
If you've got a question or comment for Dave, please leave it here in this thread. He'll be looking in from time to time to see what he needs to answer.
See you folks at 7P CST on the 17th!
The URL again is: livestream.com/frailinflix

Hi folks.
Just a (bump) reminder that this webinar is on for this coming Wednesday. VP Dave Andrus will be talking about Reunion Blues (the company) as well as the history behind the new Continental Banjo gig bag. We'll get a chance to see it as well.
I will leave the interactive "talk back" screen on so you can write in your questions during the program. I'll try and have a Q & A session later on in the interview. The whole show will probably run 20 minutes or so.
If you've got a question you'd like to ask ahead of time, leave it in this thread.
Thanks
Craig

Usually, I work until 7 PM (Central Standard Time), but I'm taking off early,
so as to be able to see/ hear this at home tomorrow. Thanks for all you do, Craig. ![]()

We'll be live at 7P CST tonight.
You can watch/interact at: livestream.com/frailinflix
Main topic of conversation... the soon-to-be seen Continental Gig Bag. Maybe Dave will ask for someone to volunteer their prewar to be thrown off a 3-story building in this bag. ![]()
Join us if you can.
Thanks all.

Since "Mastertone" style resonator banjos vary in size (slightly): Gibson vs Stelling, etc. and "heights" vary: 5/8"; .656"; 11/16"; etc....will there be micro adjustments for that (ie. custom measurements) or is "one size for all"?
Thanks, brian

Hey, Craig--
Nice job on the webinar! I would like to have participated but I couldn't get signed up for participation during the time your show ran.
Good news to be sure about a new contender for gig bags. I know Reunion Blues isn't new, but this design is alot more practical from all outward appearances. At $189 or so, probably a great value and I look forward to trying one when they become available in March.

Craig, any follow-up to your discussions w/ Dave at Reunion Blues on these Continental gig bags?
Thanks, Brian

hi guys, we did some further fit testing on the latest prototype at NAMM and have decided to fine tune the shape just a little bit. This delays our original timeline for a couple months, but we have an obligation to the banjo community to make the best Banjo case possible. I'll make sure to bump the thread when we start shipping!

Thanks Craig & thanks Dave for the nice email reply...looking forward to having one!
