Dear Tenor Banjo Players / Lovers,
This is an extremely rare and sought for Lady - only 8-10 examples (mostly tenors) of this #6 NPU version were built - it´s a 1928 version - still with the ivory inlays, the carved lions head and the engraved ebony resonator back from the mid 20s design - plus the Type III tone ring as introduced in 1927 - plus the extended 13½" resonator with a stepped flange as introduced in 1928.
This is absolutely a HOLY GRAIL - and the buy-it-now asking is in my view indeed fair.
My advice for you guys will be - do let go of the wife, the dog, the house, the cars, the coin collection, the pension funds etc. - this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for purchasing one of the few HOLY GRAIL tenors! ![]()
But do hurry - I´ll maybe put in a bid myself. ![]()
Kindly regards - and Congrats to the new owner
Polle

My first thought...where can I scare up $17k??
And I'm not even a tenor player...

But the repro neck would be another 17K... or I'd jump on this one.
