Anyone know where to get these flanges, similar to Deering Vega and Clareen banjos? I'm not looking for the Saga flanges. Or do you have them custom made? I have a friend who wants me to build him a tenor, and he really likes the look of the Vega.

Those were Great Lakes flanges. I could be wrong but I also seem to recall that Liberty Banjo carried them in the late 70's. I don't think anyone is making them today.
There is a set of nice engraved Vega flanges offered on EBay as we speak. These do not come up often.

E-mail Carolina Bridges at Deering. They have recently started offering to sell banjo parts, and may sell you a set of flange pieces. They use them on the Boston and Vega models.

Steve Caddick has a die set to make these-his email is banjopa1@yahoo.com. He can also do the plating.
Also Leo Coulson at Intermountain Guitar and Banjo has a set of 28 Vega individual flanges for $75 guitarandbanjo@earthlink.net. the index number is 5074

If your stuck I'll be able to cut you a set on the laser. Did you want brass or stainless steel??
