IM trying to make sure my tone ring is indeed a RB-75..It has the number 6004 and the gibson name stamped on it..How can i verify that

That sounds like a 75 ring to me. Most of the ones that I have seen had the Gibson stamp and a 4 digit serial number on the lip of the ring...Bill
