I am having the same frustrating problem. When I right click on the link, I do not have an option to download the file. Can anyone help?

ctrl+click works on my iMac. Which should be the same as right-click.

I just tried it on my iMac, OSX 10.4, Firefox 3.5.5
Hovered the mouse over the blue Tabledit link of the tune
Right clicked the mouse
Clicked "Save Link As"
Pressed "Save"
the file copied to my desktop
What browser are you using? Maybe the problem is there.

Have you tried opening the file directly and then saving the tab.

I got it to work and here is how:
1. Right click on the link.
2. Select "File Save As"
3. The secret is removing the .txt at the very end of the link before saving it to your desktop.
4. When you select "Save" it will ask you if you want to append the .txt. Select "Don't Append"
5. You should have the correct file saved to your desktop after this and you can double-click on it and it should open.

Oh! Yeah, before opening it in TEFview or Tabledit, make sure the extension is .tef . You can edit the name if it isn't saved as a tef file without messing it up.

I don't use macs very often but do know that on any computer with tab programs, you normally have to put the text file in the text folder or it won't work.. I don't know if this applies to mac but that is normally where the problem is:
it's with the text as some previous post suggest.

I'm with granderman on this. I'm on a macbook; so, there's no right button to click. And I think it STINKS that something that worked BEFORE the switch to this new NEW & IMPROVED version doesn't work now. How is a lost capability an improvement? Granderman, it sounds like you're using Safari as I am as your default browser. If you want to be able to do things in the hangout like you did before the switch, your best bet is to look for tabs by using the Firefox browser.
Cheers,
RayD
