Can anyone refer me to a chord chart for standard gCGBD tuning? I seem to be able to find chord charts for every tuning except for that one.

Use the standard chart and adjust for the 2 step difference between C and D. You probably already know enough chords as it is.

I just checked the Mel Bay site and the little "Mel Bay's Banjo Chords" is still in print. It is mostly C tuning. $5.95.

Thanks, John. I have a full chord chart that I bought for G tuning, and I think I'll have to just buy one for standard C tuning. I don't know music theory well enough to translate one to the other and I can't find it online.

Just for posterity, I bought Hal Leonard's 103 page "Banjo Chord Finder" that has comprehensive chord charts for Open G, Standard C, Open C, and Open D. It cost around $3 + shipping on Amazon.
It even had a short, well-written section on music theory and chord construction that almost had me believing that I understood it!

I bought a little book in a music store in NYC.
it's called banjo case chord book:
It has a chart for all the tunings. Gm. C, D, Dm, G
but not modal.

pete has chords and positions for the key of C and the key of G in the back of the book.
