Does anyone know th lyrics to "All Fall Down" from Morining Bugle.
I am most interested in the chorus, i.e. Fill in the blanks
The blank blanks commin and we'll all fall down.

I have wondered the same thing for years. I think it's gonna be mostly speculation. I wish it would've come with a lyric sheet like the Areoplane album did.

Check out the website for John... http://www.johnhartford.org/
Maybe the webmaster, John Hotze, can help you out.

I think it's whirly gig, Sounds like he's talking about a helicopter searching for pot growers.

I'm pretty sure it's "whirly pigs" ...cops in helicopters .... It's about that whole pot head paranoia thing --- (" I'm out in the back yard diggin' me a hole ...")
Great song !!

Thanks guys,
This actually a long time quest of mine. I actually found out John passed away when I tried emailing him about the lyrics. I was pretty broken to find out he left us shortly before.
I was emailing John Hotze for awhile about helping with his proposed tune book, but this song didnt come up strangely enough, maybe I'll give that a try.
Whirly gig might be right, but I'm pretty sure the second syllable of the first word has a hard sound like d or t.

It is whirlyPIGs referring, as LCSA2 said, to cops in helicopters.
