These might have been posted before, but Charles Shultz has a way of saying something in just the perfect way, and he hits the nail on the head with these!

Those are fantastic! I'm wholeheartedly behind the first one especially. Thanks for digging them up.

When our son was born, in 1971, we received many of the same congratulatory cards with the same picture drawn by Charles Schultz.
The card said something about all a baby needs is a banjo. I digitized the card at one point, but now I have to find it...I also think it was/is in the Pete Seeger book (mine is orange, but there are other colors).

There's a different Peanuts and Banjo strip in my 1962, red cover, 3rd edition of Pete's book.
John
Actually - it does get better if you pick it.

I had a couple of his banjo one's that I enlarged and matted then put into a frame and had them hanging in my music room for awhile. They're great...

John GP - I remember once upon-a-time seeing that Peanuts banjo strip, I love it.
Jimbo53 - those 2 Peanuts banjo strips I never saw before - thanks for showing them.

Thanks for posting-that's good stuff. Schulz was one of the best.
