Check out this compiled listing of all the known musicians who had
ever worked with Bill Monroe as Bluegrass Boys, or in the studio!
Someone put an awful lot of work into this!

WOW... what an undertaking! As a big Bill Monroe fan I have often wondered how many and who have gone thru Bill's band and now its all down for all to read and enjoy.

If they haven't already, someone ought to make a similar list for all of major bands that had some degree of turnover over the years, like:

Jimmy Martin & the Sunny Mountain Boys

........yep,...Ry Cooder was between Bill Keith and Steve Arkin.....he filled in while Bill was on a west coast tour......I bet that was some interesting banjo picking for sure.............Ry Cooder is one fine musician................peace
