Has anyone tried the Custom Gold Tone BG250F, with the radius graphite neck? Angie's Banjo has one. Also, can anyone out there send me a link to better pictures of the instrument?

I have always been a little leery of brands that 'customize' banjos that are in the intermediate price range. They serve a market niche which is good and when they start 'customizing' it says to me a lot of glitter but not a lot more substance to their product that is above the normal offering. They have the right to do this and folks have the right to buy. Anyone else feel this way?

I also would upgrade to a better banjo instead of spending a lot of money on a graphite neck. But if someone would give me one of course I would give it a try

Another poiint and I will let it go. Is it really a 'custom' instrument if it comes stock?

Good question, Bobby. I suppose they want to give the "illusion" of a custom instrument because of the graphite fingerboard. Thanks guys, I was curious about the 'jo, given its price point for what it is, compared to wood fingerboard banjos.
