Anyone know where I can get the power transformer for this thing? I've looked all over for a replacement but I haven't had any luck.
Just thought I'd ask here.
Thanks

I've bought universal power supplies from Radio Shack that seem to work just fine (though not specifically for the Tascam). Take the device and the instruction book to the store so they can ensure they have a good match for the power requirements and the proper pins. It's amazing how many different power ends there are now days.
Failing that, you might try contacting Tascam directly. They should have a presence on the Internet although I didn't try to find it.
"For further information, contact TASCAM at:
7733 Telegraph Road, Montebello, CA 90640
Phone 213-726-0303, FAX 213-727-7635
Contact their Parts Department for parts and manuals (not me! I don't have any) or Customer Support for anything else."
I found this on a site someone calls the Unofficial Tascam 424 MKIII Web Site when doing a Google search.
Hope this helps.
