Lizzy, what a great job you’ve done with this.

Lewis, Scruggs, & Long, only one word really needs to be said, fantastic.

The DVD that comes along with it is really, really great, well done.

Given that 65 people have viewed this and noone else has responded, I'm assuming I'm not the only one who's not familiar with this topic. Thanks TN Picker, maybe a little more info would be helpful.

It's got the name Scruggs in it- It has to be good.

Joe

(could that be Laurie Lewis? I love her.)

This is a new release by one of our very own Hangout members Lizzy Long (Little Roys Girl), Little Roy Lewis, and the man himself, Earl.

Some really fantastic picking and great vocals.

It also has a DVD with it that shows a lot of what went on behind the scenes during the making of the new cd. It's really great stuff to watch!

I have this, also. My wife got this for me last year while in Houston. I actually like the DVD more than the CD. Lizzy's rap is great!

Got the opportunity to see them in Athens Ga the other week and I'm still stocked as to how good these guys are. Little Roy doesn't get the acculades he deserves for he is a very talented musician. His style of banjo goes from the Scruggs style to using a dixieland type strum and other things in between. Lizzy, great on fiddle, banjo and can really sing. Mandolin player, one of the best and good singer also. Lizzy's sister on the bass, excellent. The young guy on the banjo makes everything look so effortless and is very very talented. You will hear from him over the years I'm sure. Look at the Elizabeth Long website and check out where they will be playing this year and go see them. No regrets and hopefully you will be excited and recharged to learn even more.
