As some of you may know I have kicked off a small project I am calling a Banjo Ministry. I have been trying to buy some used inexpensive playable banjos, such as CC50,CC100, Goodtimes, etc. in order to give them to local folks, kids, or service persons at our local military base, whom due to finances can't justify the expense of buying a banjo-but wnat to learn to play. Recently though, Mr. Frank Abrams, inventor of the "Banjo-Tam" http://www.banjo-tam.com has offered to sell me banjos with or without jingles at a price I am sure is below his cost. Just recently I recieved my first several banjos.
I wanted to thank Frank for his generosity, please go visit his website.
I hope to eventually provide a banjo, CD sampler, and instructions to folks less fortunate than most of us... to my Wichita, Kansas area. At this time I do not know of what the demand may be in this area, but I am spreading the word.
