This is a tune I wrote back in July of 2006. The tune was inspired while watching some young prairie dogs playing and chasing each other in and out of their holes. They were certainly having fun and I tried to make the tune convey that playfulness. I hope you enjoy it. My wife, Lynn, is on bass and I'm on banjo and guitar.

Holly Cow Bill. This is a great song! You got me laughing when you said your singing was not good enough to post.

Thanks, Greg! Naw, singing for me is a tough assignment. Prairie Dog Breakdown is a fun one to pick. It's starting to become popular at some of the jams down here.
