Last weekend the Del McCoury Band, The Infamous Stringdusters, The Steeldrivers, and King Wilkie appeared at the third annual Upper Valley Bluegrass Festival at the Lebanon Opera House in Lebanon, NH. I've posted an account of the event along with performance and candid pictures. - Ted

Hey Ted, I haven't read your review yet, but I was able to make it Saturday night for the Steel Drivers and Del & the boys. I thought both groups were simply great! Both bands were just so tight it was incedible - flawless. They could have cut live records from those performances.
Del is just amazing, what a voice, what energy, what a performer.

What a lineup! I've seen three of those bands, and I would have to say the Stringdusters were the most impressive live, although they had the advantage of an intimate venue. That's a charismatic group of fellows, except for Chris Pandolfi. It seems like the banjo player is always the odd savant type haha!

Thanks, all, for the positive responses. Since BHO has decided to eliminate signatures from posts, I'd like to suggest that those of you who enjoy my blog and want to keep up with it either subscribe to it (see link at bottom of each post) or bookmark it in your favorites files. I try to post two or three times weekly and subscribing will mean you'll get a notice every time. Sorry for the SSP, but I thought I should say something. - Ted www.tedlehmann.blogspot.com
