Would be helpful if the people that list themselves as banjo teachers would include one minor detail in their profiles: style of banjo playing they teach.

I second that. Not only for instructors, but for everyone. So you can find people in your area with similar interests
Will play Banjo for food, will stop playing banjo for money.

This is something I'll be adding to the "premium teacher listings" functionality we're building. Lots of details like this. Otherwise, the free listings will probably just contain the same content as the normal profiles, which means it's up to them to put that kind of info in.
