Gold Tone is redesigning this pickup mount and jack. It is going to be completely adjustable and no alteration of the banjo or soldering will be required.
I purchased mine a month ago and love it but I advise any new purchasers to wait until the new kit is available. This pickup is fantastic - picks up only the strings (true banjo) and no pre-amp needed. Love it!!!
