I haven't played my banjo since June, when my house caught fire. Now that the house is rebuilt and we're all settled, I STILL have not had a chance to play. Between hanging out with my wife and daughter and the new job I started, I can't find time to pull the poor Vega out! The irony of the situation is that the house burned, my daughter was born and I got this new job all within a 30 day period.. I am very happy with how life has been going, don't get me wrong! But I must start playing again. 8 months of not picking it up has seriously hurt my learning process!

working on learning (and eventually mastering) my fourth instrument. Tenor is a nice change. good and challenging! someone gave me the banjo in 2011 and i messed with it a little.. learned some chords and whatnot. then a few months ago something inspired me to go all out and make this instrument my musical focus. i can't put the thing down... i want to learn everything from classical to my favorite piano and guitar songs. expect videos as i progress!
