I have a 1964 Vega Earl Scruggs model banjo and I need/want to do some work on it.
I would like to replace the Scruggs Pegs with Keith tuners but if I do I'm left with two holes in the head that will need to be filed in and disguised, and they will negate the authenticity although I have had to replace the tuner buttons which has no doubt done that already.
I would keep the Scruggs pegs as is if I could find parts to refurb them(little springs etc)
What should I do?
