I've been playing Guitar since I was just a kid. I picked up the Mandolin, and Fiddle somewhere around 2005. A couple of years ago, I traded an electric guitar for an Alvarez Siver Belle Banjo and starting to tinker around with it. I have since fallen head over heels in love with the 5 string. So much so that I recently had a custom made banjo built by Christian Stanfield and Tommy George of George Banjos in Somerville TN. And boy let me tell you, THOSE BOYS CAN MAKE A BANJO!! There's no better feeling than sitting in your comfy lawn chair on the back patio in the early evening pickin out tunes on the old 5 string.
