Grew up listening to my dad jamming some serious bluegrass with a group of guys into the wee hours of the morning. Always had a fascination with the banjo and bluegrass, but never pursued it until I signed my kid up for guitar lessons and met their "bluegrass guy" who was offering lessons. That was 3 short months ago and I'm absorbing all I can about the banjo and trying to make it produce the sounds I remember filling our kitchen when I was a kid.
