Hi all
To those of you in the Greater Sudbury Area, some fantastic 'chase-the-winter-blahs-away' events are on this weekend. On Saturday, Hard Ryde with Doug DeBoer and his award winning bluegrass band will be appearing at the Espanola Elks Hall, with EDNSON's Bluegrass opening (Eddy Guay and his boys from Espanola). Much good banjo picking! And the jamming starts at 2 pm, ends at 7 for the concert, and continues after the two groups have fininshed their sets. $18 to get in is a small price to pay for so much music in one 24 hour period. Grab your cases, your picks and come on out!
Also, Mar 1 sees the Canucky Bluegrass Boys (formerly Grassbackwardz) in Sudbury at the Moose Hall on Frood Road at 2:30 pm. What a fresh, energetic addition to the bluegrass family. You want to hear picking and harmony? Go see them.
That's it for now. Drop me a line. Love to hear from bluegrassers. Anytime!

Just a Canadian bluegrass nut, run a jam club here every Tuesday, love to talk bluegrass, love to play it even more. Can't wait to retire so I can concentrate more on promoting the genre in our area. (It is a bit bluegrass-deficient)
