Started playing banjo in 1990. Took lessons for about 1 year and couldn't find anyone to jam with so I lost interest and sold my Deering Sierra banjo. Forward to 2007 and my interest in picking up the banjo resurfaced so I purchased a new Deering Sierra banjo. I'm not taking lessons but I found that even after all those years of not playing I've been able to get back up to speed quickly. This time I plan to stick with it and learn to play.
