A little over a month ago, I posted about my latest efforts trying to learn to play the old-time, clawhammer style banjo. Initially I was hoping to use online resources. But I soon felt that wasn’t enough. For the last three weeks, I tutor with whom I take classes on Friday. I have grown a lot since. I have the bumdidty, more or less. I have learned five chords, and am starting to work on my first song — This Land Is Your Land. I just wanted you to know how I’m doing. This is the farthest I’ve come over my previous efforts.

Have a great day everyone!

Steve

Congratulations! Hang in there. Enjoy the process! Playing any instrument is a journey, not a destination.

And once you learn ONE song right, you will have hundreds available that you are capable of learning/playing! banjered
