Attention fellow Reno fans!! I just confirmed with Don Wayne Reno today that we will be doing our first Reno Style workshop together on May 5th and 6th at Jack Hatfield's Smoky Banjo Banjo Academy in Gatlinburg, TN.  We are tentatively scheduled to be there for the Saturday night concert and Sunday for the actual workshop.  Come on out join us! Wow-what an awesome opportunity! Don Wayne, Jason, and Charlie Cushman know more 'Don Reno Style' banjo than anyone I've heard..wish I could attend! I'd Love to learn some of Don's music. I can't recommend this workshop highly enough to anyone who has an interest in learning about the wonderfully creative, thoroughly original music of the Great Don Reno..

WOW! Thanks Larry!  That's quite an endorsement from a master picker like you!  You can play any style you wanted to.  I am supposed to go spend the weekend at Don Wayne's house in the middle April.  Maybe we can get together and pick some.  You live near him don't you?

Jason, I will take you up on that my friend, my dad still talks about our other 2 visits. You one of the nicest guys I've met and your knowledge of the Reno style seems vast. When it comes down to Dons style and I mean the rolls and the timing and everything, I know of no one else who can do what you do. I wish I could make it.
