Well, I don't know about Candyland or Monopoly, but we ALL know that the video game "Mario" is political.
It's definitely subtle communist propaganda.

*He wears quite a bit of red (his suspenders, super mushrooms, his hat, etc.)
*we see how expendable the people of the Mushroom Kingdom are when they hinder Mario's bloodthursty pursuit for power
*at the end of every level, he must raise and lower a flag; he lowers a flag with a PEACE symbol on it (militant dictatorships can't have that, now can they?) and raises a flag with a SINGLE RED STAR!
*and finally, there's a suspicious resemblance here:

Wishing someone a happy birthday is not something that should provoke a reaction even if that person is Reagan, Carter, Obama or Palin.
The claim that a politician was a "great person" does however provoke a reaction because politicians make moral decisions and these decisions tell us what kind of person they are as well as what kind of politicians they are.

Come on now Kipperr.... spare us the outrage. I enjoy your posts, but I think you are off-base accusing others of going political and negative. In my opinion, this thread went political and negative on page one. People knew the undertones of their posts... I did not fall off the turnip truck yesterday... it was three weeks ago...

I'll agree that you and another poster are correct; some people's statements were sorta political to begin with, and not DustinTN's doing, I'll grant you that. He's the first one I felt took the thread "negative" so thus my response; but I hear what you're saying. I'll admit to taking a little shot at Carter in my post you quoted. (Darn time limit edit rule!)

I think KE's post hit it squarely on the head, and I have to include myself in that group.
