No surpise then, that I misunderstood the Norge thread to be applicable to anyone whose ancestors were regarded as Norsemen, by people who were not Norsemen.

Dang - as you can see from my Avatar I used to live in Norway (when I was much younger) - but I have forgotten most of the language. I have just moved to Germany from the US. Who knows, perhaps I'll get the chance to visit the land of my youth! Anyway, good luck with the new group.

Being a gamle Norske I gotta love the digs on the Swedes!

I think and hope the threads will go in both languages. It's nice to have the "old norwegians" with us.
By the way, I had another look at my earlier message. I think it should be buy Sweden not by. So you see, some of us mess up the language a bit. I'm not sure I wrote the last sentence right. but....
