I have been searching and searching for the sheet music (either online or for purchase) for "It's A Small World" (Yes, the Disney song!!) bluegrass style.

Does anyone have these tabs to share or could you direct me to a link where I might purchase or find it?

The cost of printing and producing books is probably very high when you consider the cost of paying a union printer's salary and benefits on a per annum basis...

The banjo market is probably very small and fairly insignificant in the eyes of many publishers...therefore, unless there is a pre-defined market (motivated by a movie such as O' Brother Where Art Thou, or an audience craving to learn about Earl Scruggs) that they can be certain will buy books on certain topics... they probably don't have much interest.

I worked in a music store for many years and was in charge of book sales and inventory there.

Money and demand drive everything.

Thank you so much!! I have scoured the internet and this is the only place I have been able to locate a lead on finding this song!

It's really too bad about the lack of banjo tab books with popular songs. It is such a beautiful instrument and should be promoted more.

I am typically not a huge fan of this song, except when it is played on the banjo or on the ukulele-on those instruments it just sounds amazing!

If you have any more versions, please feel free to post. I'd love to find a variety of versions (beginner, intermediate, etc...)

What would you consider the versions that you posted, in terms of difficulty?

That is a summation of the ground I cover in my own musical interests and arrangements.

I'm not a virtuoso by anyone's standards, but I simply enjoy playing and 'thinking' banjo whenever possible... I took lessons for many years and taught for many years and never tire of reading theory books and trying out what I learn.

Very truly, I consider myself a lifelong student of the banjo...

I took guitar lessons from a retired US Army sargent many years ago... Mr. Burns told me on my first lesson with him, that he'd played guitar since he was 14 years of age... (he was 73 at the time) barn dances in Kentucky in the 40s, 50s and 60s... He said he would never know it all, could never know it all, and that his love of music and the guitar in particular, kept him at the lifelong task of continually studying and playing...

And I guess that is true of me... I just enjoy doing it.
